Add & edit records

Create people and companies, and keep their details current

To keep things simple: an Object is a broad category (like People, Companies, or Deals), and a record is a single entry inside that category (like John Smith, or Acme Corp).

A record holds everything Allyos knows about that specific person or company. When you open a record, you get the complete picture, every data point, email, WhatsApp chat, and team note, all in one place.

Here is how you manage them:

1Add a new entry
Go to the object you are working in (like your People directory), click to create a new record, and type in what you know. Just a name is enough to start; you can always fill in the rest later.
2Edit on the fly
Open any record and click directly into a field to update it. Changes save automatically as you type, so you never have to remember to hit a save button.
3Capture context with notes
Every record has a dedicated space for notes. When you finish a call, just drop a quick note about what you discussed. This ensures those small, crucial details stay attached to the right person, instead of getting lost in a notebook somewhere.

Next: track the exact details that matter to your business by building custom columns.
