Link records with Relationship columns

In business, data rarely exists in a vacuum. A contact belongs to a company, a contract belongs to a client, and a property belongs to a deal. In Allyos, you tie these pieces together using a Relationship column.

Out of the box, your People and Companies are already linked for you. But the real power of Allyos is that you can build custom relationships between any objects in your workspace.

Define how things connect

When you create a new Relationship column, you tell Allyos which object to connect to, and how they relate. You can perfectly map this to reality using four relationship types:

• One to one: A single record links to one other record (e.g., one CEO to one Company).
• One to many: A single record links to multiple records (e.g., one Company links to many Employees).
• Many to one: Multiple records link to a single record (e.g., many Deals belong to one Client).
• Many to many: Multiple records link to multiple records (e.g., many Investors fund many different Projects).

The two-way view

Relationships are always a two-way street. Once you link a contact to a Deal object, opening that Deal shows you the contact, and opening the contact shows you the Deal. You get the full picture of the relationship, including all notes and history, without ever having to click back and forth or duplicate data.

That is the core of working in Allyos: objects hold your data, groups and views keep you focused, and relationship columns tie it all together into one single source of truth.
