Groups & Views

Turn a massive directory into focused workflows

A Group is a focused collection of records, the exact slice of your data you need to work on right now. Inside that Group, you can organize how you actually look at that data using Views.

This combination is what turns Allyos from a giant database into a tool you can actually work from every day.

Create a Group

Just create a new Group and give it a clear, workflow-driven name, like Active clients or Leads this month.

Add records to it

Open a Group and pull contacts or companies into it. A single record can sit in as many Groups as you need. For example, a contact can live in your Active clients Group and your Q3 Renewals Group at the exact same time. The data just syncs across both, without ever creating a messy duplicate.

Work how you want with Views

Once your records are in a Group, you can choose exactly how you want to see them. Allyos offers two distinct ways to view your work:

  • Table View: A clean, spreadsheet-style layout. This is perfect for sorting, filtering, and seeing a lot of detailed column data at a single glance.
  • Pipeline View: A visual Kanban board. This lets you track progress by grouping records into columns, so you can easily drag-and-drop a person or company from one stage to the next (like moving a lead from Contacted to In Negotiation).

Think in workflows

The most useful Groups are the ones you return to again and again. A few that most teams set up on day one:

  • Active clients: Everyone you are currently serving.
  • Leads to chase: The people who need a follow-up right now.
  • By location or type: A specific segment, like everyone in a certain city or industry.

Getting into the habit of working out of Groups and Views is what makes the rest of Allyos click. Once your data is organized this way, everything else, following up, reaching out, and collaborating, gets significantly faster.

Next: shape each Group with filters, columns, and sorting so it shows exactly what you need.
